LINDA Robson has been nicknamed 'Baggy Mouth' by Loose Women fans, as she is well known for her honesty and willingness to talk about everything including her husband's waxing. But Linda is quite happy with this nickname and she was a pleasure to talk to about her current tour with the stage version of Birds of a Feather. The show is likely to return to our screens this autumn too, she said.

The last time I saw Linda Robson on screen she was coping with the horrors the jungle had to throw at her in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. She appeared in the show last year, which she said was brilliant.

But she is in much more civilised surroundings now as she tours the country with the second leg of the Birds of a Feather tour, with fellow original cast members Penn's Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph.

The three reunited last year for the stage version of the BBC sitcom which was on our screens for ten years throughout the 1990s.

The show is set today and the lives of sisters Sharon and Tracy and their sex-mad neighbour, Dorien have all been moved on.

Tracy has a teenage son called Travis, who is jointly played by Linda's son, Louis Dunford, Pauline's son Charlie and an actor called Sean Michael Verey.

Linda said: "It has been fantastic. We really do all get on well. We have got so much history together.

"It is pretty scary- it is like doing a marathon- it is a two hour show and you never leave the stage.

"You feel like you are doing a work out. "The reaction has been fantastic- it really has.

"It was like we had never been away. From the very first day we never stopped talking."

Linda has starred on stage a lot since the show finished including Grumpy Old Women Live, as has Lesley, who starred in Wycombe Swan's pantomime of Cinderella in 2011.

She said: "When they originally came to us with the idea and said to us about doing a stage show- my reaction was if the three of us do it.

"Lesley and I weren't sure if Pauline would do it. She hadn't been on stage for over 20 years.

"We had done it over the years.

"But she said, if I have got you two there to help me it should be fine. "Pauline didn't enjoy the first few weeks at all but she is loving it now."

Linda has three children and her son, Louis, is one of three actors who takes on the role of Travis.

Louis is a trained actor but she said both her and Pauline felt more nervous for their sons than themselves.

She is also now a grandmother to Lila, who is a year old, who she really misses when she is on tour.

Linda said: "This week she has started walking. I got to see her on FaceTime.

"When she sees me on the screen she holds her arms out for me to pick her up.

"It is the best thing ever [being a Granny}. I am bit or a bore with her, I think. I drive everyone mad showing photos of her."

And it was being on I'm A Celeb where she really missed her family, even though they came out to Australia with her.

The week before the show started the contestants are not allowed to speak to any of their family. Then even when the show started she wasn't too sure.

She said: "It was the first two days where I hated it. I thought I am not going to last in here- I am going to walk out.

"I could hear lots of noises and there were rats all around.

"On the third day I woke up and thought, it is fine. I like all the people I am in there with.

"I loved it. No regrets. I had an amazing time. I have kept in touch with everybody- there are not many people you go through that sort of thing with."

And she is also loving being on Loose Woman, which is a chat show on ITV every lunch time.

She said: "I have got more into it now and feel more at home and more able to speak up.

"It is a funny thing to go into and I didn't want to tread on anyone's toes- they don't make you feel like that but you feel like it- you don't want to take over. "I feel more and more at ease and able to join in."

She is called Baggy Mouth for her openness and honesty.

She added: "I try not to say too much about the kids. My husband in general gets a lot of stick.

"I mentioned on Loose Woman he waxed. He doesn't watch it much. The dustbin man said to him I hear you have been having some waxing done.

"He does take it well."

And of course, her co-star, Pauline Quirke, who resides in Penn has been causing a stir in the ITV series of Broadchurch, which finished this week.

In the show Pauline's dog, Bailey, stars too, and has been gaining a host of new fans online. He goes on tour with Pauline.

Linda said: "He is the loveliest dog. He is the most laid back and relaxed dog and it is lovely to have him on tour."
