FIREFIGHTERS battled a twelve-vehicle fire last night at a vehicle yard in Wooburn Moor.

The blaze involving nine cars, a caravan, a minibus and a van required six fire engines at the scene at Southside Farm, White Hill.

Two crews from Beaconsfield responded just after midnight, with two from High Wycombe, one from Princes Risborough and another from Stokenchurch joining efforts soon after.

Firefighters used two main jets, two hose reels and six sets of breathing apparatus as they fought the flames.

Two propane cylinders were removed and cooled during the incident.

Fire crews perfomred a re-inspection this morning at 8am.
