A BEACONSFIELD bar and restaurant hopes customers will be tickled pink by its new drink as it begins a ‘Pink October’ promotion to raise money for breast cancer.
During the month-long campaign, The Beech House on Penn Road, run by Oakman Inns, will be donating £1 from every special ‘pink gin’ and selected bottles of Rose to Scannappeal .
The money will go towards the charity’s aim of bringing the latest in breast-screening technology to Wycombe Hospital and making it a centre of excellence in fighting the disease.
Amanda Martin, Scannappeal’s fundraising director, said: “We are delighted that Oakman Inns are supporting Scannappeal by getting involved in Pink October.
“The support of such a successful local business will help maximise our fundraising for this appeal which will help thousands of local women each year.”
