A WOMAN who was punched in the face in an apparent road rage attack needed hospital treatment after the assault in High Wycombe last week.

The victim was driving her car on Parker Knoll Way last Tuesday, November 12 and attempted to turn left onto Glenister Way.

After sounding her horn at the stationary Chrysler in front, the female Chrysler passenger got out at the next red light, shouted and then punched her through the open window.

She needed treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital after the attack.

The suspect was white, around 50-years-old, with dark hair in a bob. She was of a slim build, around 5ft 6ins and was wearing glasses.

The driver of the Chrysler was also white, with shoulder-length brown hair and was also possibly wearing glasses.

The car involved is a small blue Chrysler with a registration which started LN55 or similar.
