A DOG which got stuck in a rabbit hole was rescued by fire fighters after a two-and-a-half hour operation on Sunday.
Tinker the Terrier got stuck when on a family walk in Wooburn Park, and it took shovels and a ‘snake-eye’ camera to get the light brown terrier back out.
A Bucks Fire and Rescue Service spokesman, Fraser Pearson, said: “We are pleased it had a happy ending but it is also a reminder to dog owners to keep an eye on hazards.”
He added: “He (the dog) seemed happy, keen to move around, just a bit muddy but I am sure he was given a good clean.”
