NUMBER plates have been stolen and windows smashed during a series of car-related crimes which police believe could be linked.
Number plates were stolen from vehicles parked in Summerleys Road, Princes Risborough, and Rosebery Avenue in High Wycombe.
Two further vehicles parked at John Lewis in Cressex had their windows smashed. Police said they were unsure if anything was stolen.
All three incidents took place sometime between Monday and Tuesday, police said.
Det Insp Robin Hughes said: “I would ask motorists to check their vehicle security and follow the crime prevention tips that are available on our website.
“If you see anyone acting suspiciously in or around a vehicle please make sure you call 101. If you see a crime in progress, call 999.”
