GERRARDS Cross Rotary Club has raised £8,000 for a High Wycombe-based charity.
The money will be put towards ‘Padstones’, ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign.
Jeremy Banham, President of The Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter, presented the cheque to Cllr. Alan Walters, Chairman of the Padstones Charity, on Thursday, February 20, 2014.
Mr Banham, said: “We are delighted to present Padstones with a cheque for £8,000 following a very successful Gala Night. Padstones is a very worthy charity, supporting hundreds of young homeless teenagers in the locality.
“We are proud to donate to such a fantastic cause and to help raise awareness of how the Charity’s service assists young people in distressing times.”
