A PETITION to stop land separating Bourne End and Wooburn Green being developed on, has now been signed by over 600 people.

The petition to ‘Save Slate Meadow’ was started in February and has now received 602 votes, at the time of publishing.

A campaign group in the area have also set-up a Facebook group in an effort to raise awareness of development plans within Wycombe District Council’s local plan.

The group are petitioning to have Slate Meadow removed from the Reserved List, and prevent WDC from considering it for future development.

The council held a public consultation on proposed development sites in the district, over the last two months.

The consultation ended on Friday, April 4.
