TICKETS are now on sale for a music festival which returns for a second year after its sell-out success last summer.

On Saturday, September 6 Marlow Bottom Playing Fields will again play host to the family-friendly Marlow Rock Bottom, which last year pulled in hundreds of revellers.

A plethora rock, blues, soul and pop acts will take to the stage during the day-long festival, with ska band The Beat set to headline the evening.

Such was the success of last year’s one-day festival that organisers had to turn away people at the door who had not booked tickets.

Marlow Rock Bottom was organised by Jason Batten and Richard Ross after the long-running village fete had to be cancelled due to lack of volunteers.

As well as the music, the family-friendly festival offers a host of children’s activities including face painting and a giant bouncy castle, with the more parent-friendly beer tent serving ale from nearby Rebellion Brewery.

Tickets are now available from www.marlowrockbottom.co.uk and will go on sale soon in a number of outlets around Marlow and Marlow Bottom.

Entry costs £20 for adults, £7.50 for children and under fives go free. Alternatively, family tickets are available for £50 (two adults and three children).
