I have just spent nearly 14 days in Stoke Mandeville Hospital.
No problem there; nurses and doctors great and caring, they knew their jobs and carried them out with the minimum of fuss and bother. The only complaint I have is the notes given regarding medication. These looked as if they were written by a three-year-old St Trinians pupil.
No one could understand them, especially me who had to take what was on there. Why is this not done on computer? And why oh why are details of illness and medication not sent to my local surgery?
I am sure my local GP has more than a passing interest in my welfare when I am hospitalised!
