Searching for a missing child or family member can often feel like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Right now we are appealing for 67 people missing in the South East.
Their families are desperately worried and need to know everything is being done to find them. Poster and social media campaigns allow the charity Missing People to get the message out quickly to thousands of volunteers, partners and members of the public.
As a lifeline when someone disappears, our memorable pan-European number – 116 000 – makes it easy for anyone with information to contact us free and in confidence, and players of People’s Postcode Lottery make this possible.
It’s great to see players receiving prizes while they contribute to causes like ours; like lucky Gerrards Cross local Keith Powell who won £50,000 recently. To date, players of People’s Postcode Lottery across Great Britain have raised more than £2m for Missing People.
We’re immensely grateful – we could not search for missing people without such generous contributions.
