THE county's fire brigade has said it will still be able to provide emergency responses after two further strikes were announced today.
Firefighters who are members of the Fire Brigades Union will go on strike twice in the coming weeks in a dispute with the government over pensions.
A 24 hour walkout will take place from 9am on Thursday, June 12, while another strike will take place from 10am-5pm on Saturday, June 21.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said today: "Emergency calls where lives are at risk will be prioritised, and Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service will continue to provide as much information as possible to help people avoid having a fire or other emergency."
Safety information and advice has been issued by the brigade at www.bucksfire.gov.uk/BucksFire/News/Safety+tips+during+FBU+strikes+-+and+at+all+other+times.htm.
