A MOTORCYCLIST who died following a collision on the A40 by Stokenchurch has been named.
Adrian Chambers, 42, from Prestwood was driving a grey Yamaha R1 motorcycle when he was in a collision with a silver BMW X5 car on June 8 at 11.30am.
Following the collision on the A40 at the junction with Christmas Common, he was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned and revealed he died from multiple injuries.
The driver of the car was also taken to the Oxford Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have seen either of the vehicles involved prior to the collision is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on the non-emergency number 101 and quote the URN 594 8/6/14.
