ARTand design students at Buckinghamshire New University are displaying a range of exciting work at its end of year show, exhibiting until Thursday.

The Bucks End of Year Show 2014 is taking place at the University’s Campus in Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe.

It includes design pieces created by undergraduate and postgraduate students on the University’s art & design, creative and furniture courses in materials from ceramics and glass to metal, silver and wood.

The show features work from courses including Advertising: Creative, Fine Art, Foundation Studies: Art, Design and Media, Furniture, Graphic Arts, Product Design, Spatial Design, and Textiles and Surface Design.

Andreas Fabian, Course Leader for 3D Contemporary Crafts & Products, said: “We have some really fantastic work on show and are very keen for members of the public to come in to the University and see our students’ pieces.”

The Bucks End of Year Show is part of Bucks Open Studios, where over 500 artists and makers, in over 200 different venues across Buckinghamshire, open their studios and run exhibitions and events for the public to visit.

The show is open to the public from 10am-7.30pm today, Tuesday June 17, and Wednesday, June 18; and from 10am-4pm on Thursday, June 19.

Pieces will also be exhibited at New Designers, at the Business Design Centre, in Islington, London, between June 25-28 and July 2-5, and at D&AD New Blood at The Old Truman Brewery, in Brick Lane, London, from July 1-3, as well as at the prestigious Indigo Paris 2014 exhibition between September 16 and 18.
