PRINCES Risborough Festival came to a close last Saturday with a bustling street fair.

The week long annual event culminated in street fair in the High Street, Duke Street and Market Square.

And live music was performed from 1.30 to 6pm on the main stage with Rattlesnake, Ross Stevenson and Tiny Tina Turner and Blues Band taken to the stage.

One of the festival organisers, Richard Stevenson, said: "It was very good. We had good turn outs at some of the events during the week.

"The feedback we have had so far is very positive and people had a good time at the street fair.

"It was busy and we had some good bands on the stage. All in all, it was a good week."

Events during the week included lunchtime concerts at St Mary's Church, Hypnos factory tours and a barn dance.

The planning for the next festival will start in September.
