NINE healthcare centres in Amersham and High Wycombe are to benefit from new mental health services and staff, it was announced this week.
Scores of new jobs are to be created after the Oxford Health NHS Foundation trust awarded a contract to the Castlerock Recruitment Group to improve the mental healthcare system in south Bucks.
The new deal will provide community-based nursing and social care workers, medical locums and GP locums, occupational and speech therapists and new mental health professionals.
Ian Munro, CEO of CRG, said: “We are delighted to be working with the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust to help meet its demand for community-based healthcare professionals. The launch of our local branch signifies our commitment to developing relationships with healthcare professionals in the region and matching them with the wealth of employment opportunities available in the area.”
The Amersham Health Centre will benefit from the new contract, as will the Rectory Meadow Centre and Haleacre Unit at the town's hospital.
The terms of the contract will also supply new staff and services to Harlow House, Orchard House, Prospect House, Shrublands Day Hospital, the Valley Centre and the Kite Ridge Centre in High Wycombe.
