AN elderly woman died in hospital following a fall at her home, an inquest heard.
Doris Park, 87, from Woodley Hill, Chesham fell in her home on May 26 and sustained a head injury.
She was taking to Stoke Mandeville Hospital and died less than 24 hours after admission.
The inquest at Beaconsfield Coroner's Court on Thursday heard she had been having recurrent falls at her home where she lived independently.
She had an alarm which she pressed, if she ever got into difficulty.
A post mortem revealed she died from an acute subdural haematoma due to recurrent falls, and secondary causes were listed as pneumonia and chronic kidney disease.
Coroner Richard Hulett recorded a verdict of accidental death.
