RESIDENTS will have a second chance to lobby the government on HS2 after changes were made to a piece of legislation.
Minor amendments to the HS2 Hybrid Bill - effectively the multi billion pound project's planning application - were agreed in the House of Commons by MPs earlier this month.
The changes mean a new petitioning period lasting for another month has been launched.
Chesham and Amersham MP Cheryl Gillan has invited residents to present their petitions at her constituency office in Amersham, or at the Robertson Room in Portcullis House.
The petitioning period ends at 1pm on Friday, October 17. Anyone who made a submission during the original petitioning period will not have to pay the £20 again if they wish to make representations again.
Details on the process can be found on Mrs Gillan's website at www.cherylgillan.co.uk/news/hs2-additional-provision-petitions.
