An elderly woman had her handbag snatched in ASDA car park in High Wycombe on Thursday.
The incident happened at around 11am on the morning of Thursday, November 27, while the 81-year-old woman was putting her shopping in the boot of her car.
The woman’s leather handbag, which had money, bank cards and a Nokia mobile phone in, was on the front seat of her car when the theft occurred.
The woman was alone when the frightening incident happened.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for anyone with information to please contact the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
