Attempted burglary thwarted by neighbour
A would-be burglar was prevented from breaking into a Chesham home by an eagle-eyed neighbour.
A man was caught acting suspiciously near the property and was challenged by a neighbour, who police said 'escorted' the suspect away from the premises.
The location of the incident, which took place last month, has not been made public by the police.
Officers said a total of 13 dwelling burglaries were reported to them in November - double the figure for the previous month.
