All lanes are re-opened after a people carrier crashed on the M40 near Loudwater.
Police have confirmed only one vehicle was involved in the collision and said they were called just after 12.30pm today, with the road cleared less than an hour later.
They said the accident occurred between junction 3 (Loudwater) and junction 4 (Handy Cross).
Officers added the accident had caused congestion with long queues expected, but traffic has eased following the collision.
According to national traffic links the vehicle crashed in lane three.
Paramedics were believed to be on the scene, but South Central Ambulance Service is yet to confirm this or if anyone involved was injured.
