This New Year a hospice charity is throwing down the gauntlet to you to get fit and raise vital funds to help seriously ill people in the community through a range of challenges to suit all senses of adventure.

If you have decided that 2015 is the year for you to get off the sofa and do something positive then Rennie Grove Hospice Care is aiming to offer the perfect incentive to help you keep on track.

Ruth Proudfoot, events fundraising manager, said: “By committing to take part in one of our challenges you will have something to focus on and keep you motivated. Why not sign-up to an event with friends or family so you can help each other stay on track.

“The charity has a range of different events planned for 2015, so something is bound to appeal.

“You will also be able to get sponsored for your chosen challenge, so have the added bonus of knowing that while helping yourself to get fit you are also helping local people who have cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.”
