Police have said they will be out in numbers to combat illegal pony and trap racing along a major road this weekend.
Officers will be patrolling the A413 Amersham Road in Chalfont St Peter following complaints from residents the road is being used for racing.
Thames Valley Police's local policing area for Chiltern have today tweeted asking residents to report any suspicious activity to them.
They tweeted: "Chalfonts police out in force this weekend to deal robustly with pony and trap racing on A413. Call 101 to report any suspicious activity."
Although it is not illegal to ride a horse on a dual carriageway, it is a criminal offence to carry out any form of racing on a public highway.
