A High Wycombe vicar continued the calls for harmony throughout the community during a speech yesterday.
Hugh Ellis of All Saints Church, based in Castle Street, spoke during the procession to mark the birthday of the prophet Muhammad.
In recent weeks racial tensions across the world have increased, but the Council for Christian and Muslim Relations, which Rev Ellis is vice-chairman of, have been keen to prove Wycombe is united.
During his speech he said the people of High Wycombe ‘stand together as we pray with one another’.
