A main road near Great Missenden is blocked and there is queuing traffic due to a broken down bus.
The Arriva bus is obstructing the A413, near Leather Lane.
The Highways Agency is reporting that single alternate lane traffic is taking turns to pass the scene.
A witness down at the scene said that a recovery truck is on its way, which should hopefully clear the road shortly.
Another bus has reportedly arrived to transport the stranded passengers.
