Two Wycombe Wanderers supporting sisters are preparing to saddle up for a charity cycle ride challenge tomorrow.

Leanne and Lana Hurford will be cycling the equivalent of 66 miles on static exercise bikes in the Adams Park car park ahead of their team's match against Cheltenham Town.

They will be raising money to fund research into prostate cancer after their grandfather Don was diagnosed with the condition at Christmas time, and they hope to raise more than £2,000.

The Hurfords will be kicking off their challenge - covering the distance between Adams Park and Cheltenham's ground, Whaddon Road - at 11am and hope to complete it before Wanderers' match starts at 3pm.

There will be three bikes and the sisters hope fellow supporters will get in the saddle to help them.

Leanne, 18, from Hazlemere, said: "We're hoping some of the home and away fans will join us and get involved.

"I go to the gym quite a lot at Handy Cross, so I feel prepared for it."

Of the money raised from the bike ride the majority will be donated to Prostate Cancer UK, while the rest will be donated to Wanderers.

Prostate Cancer are one of the Football League's official charity partners and Saturday has been designated as Wanderers' awareness day.
