Residents could be jumping for joy if plans for a new trampoline park in High Wycombe are approved.

Rush Trampoline Parks Ltd are proposing to change the use of Lexmark House Warehouse, in Cressex Business Park, which has been empty for over four years, into a trampoline park and install a mezzanine level in the building.

The plans for the 5,481sq.metre site in Coronation Road, were submitted to Wycombe District Council on April 7 and a decision is expected in July.

The application outlines space for an open jump area, a challenge court area, dodge ball and basketball courts, a foam pit and a performance wall.

The mezzanine level will accommodate toilets, party rooms, a cafe, seating area and viewing gallery, a reception, a safety briefing area and offices.

The company hope to provide group and individual training, team sports, aerobic fitness classes, birthday parties and team building events.

There will also be rebound therapy for disabled children and adults.

87 car parking spaces for visitors and staff will be created and existing cycle parking will stay.

The application has already proved popular, with one resident commenting that it could be a “new and fun attraction for Wycombe” which is “an excellent way to encourage people to get active.”
