TWO lanes remain closed on the M40 this morning after a crash between and car and a lorry in the early hours of the morning.
Emergency services and recovery teams are still dealing with the crash on the M40 northbound at junction 1 for the M25.
Two lanes are still closed and the entry slip road from the M25 clockwise is also closed, causing long delays for morning commuters.
Only lane three is open past the accident, being held at times for recovery, and expected to stay partly closed through the morning rush hour.
A diversion is in place, with traffic from the M25 clockwise still able to join the M40 south and turn around at J1 Denham.
Firefighters from Gerrards Cross were called to the crash just after 3.30am this morning.
