Plans for members of the HS2 Select Committee to visit Bucks next week have been postponed.
Committee members, who are currently examining evidence for and against the proposed multi billion pound railway line, had been due to make a three-day field visit to the county next week.
But it has been announced on the UK Parliament website that the visit will now not take place this month and will be rescheduled "for a time to be arranged". No reason for the postponement has been given.
Members had been due to go to Amersham and several villages in the Great Missenden area on May 20, before visiting the Wendover and Aylesbury areas the following day and moving on towards Buckingham on May 22.
A statement on the Parliament website read: "The Committee is grateful for the understanding of those involved in planning the visits and looks forward to the opportunities to meet local petitioners and hear their views in due course."
