Crowds flocked to High Wycombe this weekend as a popular festival returned for a hugely successful third year.

Frogfest took over the Froogmoor area of town on Sunday for the day-long extravaganza of music, dance, art, food and all-round creativity featuring the best the area has to offer.

Thousands went along to take it the sights, sounds and smells during the day-long festival, which this year featured two music stages as well as stalls and attractions peppered throughout the public square.

The main stage saw upbeat performances from the likes of rockabilly band The Rymatones, the Cable Street Collective, The Running Guns and reggae outfit XcS (see video below), with many of the bands featuring members hailing from High Wycombe.

At the other side of the site, the acoustic stage this year was presented by town pub The Belle Vue, with a range of acts throughout the day including Bitterroot, Sir Walter J Wallis and Steve Gifford.

And the day culminated with a colourful and energetic turn by charismatic ensemble Tankus the Henge and fire show from Flame Fatale bringing the day to a close.

Frogfest is run by HWBIDco, a group paid for by businesses to make High Wycombe town centre a more attractive, vibrant destination.

The free festival is now in its third year, with many town centre shops and businesses involved in the running of the event, including pub the Belle Vue and shop Ruby Moon.
