A man from High Wycombe has been charged in connection with the alleged assault of a police officer in Castlefield yesterday.
Aiden George, aged 20, of Spearing Road was arrested and charged with one count of grievous bodily harm yesterday.
He appeared at High Wycombe magistrates court today, September 17, and was remanded in custody to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on September 24.
The charge relates to the alleged assault of a Thames Valley Police officer in Spearing Road.
At 12.15pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the road after receiving reports of an unconcious man with a head injury.
He was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital by ambulance and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Update: No further action will be taken against a 51-year-old woman from High Wycombe who was arrested in connection with the investigation on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
