Detectives search for witnesses to serious assault outside school in south Buckinghamshire.

The attack outside Burnham Grammar School two weeks ago left one man in his late forties with a broken cheek bone, and police say very few people have come forward with information.

Investigating officers said two men were having an altercation over an alleged road dispute in Hogfair Lane, Burnham, at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, September 16.

One man suffered a broken cheek bone which required hospital treatment at Wexham Park Hospital.

PC Daniel Brown said: ”The incident happened in the middle of the road while there was heavy traffic causing severe congestion in the area.

“Very few people have since come forward with information, yet I know that there would have been several people who would have potentially seen or heard about this incident.

“It is vital that we speak to these people as they may hold vital information which could help our investigation.

“We are hoping that someone may have seen two stationary vehicles, a silver Ford Focus and a black Toyota Avensis, or the incident itself.”
