Work is currently being done on an industrial site in Loudwater to transform an empty building into a Dunelm store.
The popular home furnishing retailer, which has over 100 shops in the UK, is to open a store at unit three, Knaves Beech Industrial Estate – replacing the MFI store that has been empty for a number of years.
Fans of Dunelm currently have to travel to Hemel Hempstead or Harrow to shop for homewares.
Plans for a 1,626 square metre mezzanine floor have also been accepted and is set to house a customer café.
Permission was given by Wycombe District Council in March for the development to go ahead in March this year and work is currently ongoing.
The opening date of the store has not yet been confirmed.
