A charity shop in Princes Risborough was treated to a revamp last week as part of a county-wide plan to spruce up the outlets.

The re-launch at the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home shop on Market Square took place on Wednesday 18 November and featured the charity's mascot Rennie bear.

Sarah Conneely, the shop's manager, said: "It’s been hard work but the shop looks and feels great. I’m so impressed it has all been done in-house and at no cost to the charity.

"We can’t wait to welcome everyone in to experience the new look."

District Manager Michelle Remice said: “We wanted to give our popular Princes Risborough shop a bit of a face-lift so that customers, volunteers and staff alike had a better environment in which to shop and work.

"The refit has created more display and selling space and a fresh, new feel to the shop which we hope will attract new customers as well as giving our loyal regulars a more enjoyable shopping experience."

Rennie Grove’s retail operation brings in more than £2 million every year, and the 800 dedicated volunteers working across all areas of retail save the charity hundreds of thousands of pounds annually.
