Paralympic gold medallist Naomi Riches MBE will be joining the chairman of the district council to officially open the new High Wycombe Dunelm store, which is bringing 100 jobs to the area.

The new store, in Knaves Beech Industrial Estate, Loudwater, will open its doors to shoppers at 9am on Tuesday, March 15 and the first 50 people through the door will get a surprise gift as well as the chance to win a £500 gift card.

Cllr Ian McEnnis, chairman of Wycombe District Council will cut the ribbon with Paralympic rower Naomi Riches MBE as well as Dunelm’s official charity partner, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity mascot, Marvin the Marvellous Crocodile.

The homewares store, which will be open seven days a week, will have a dedicated Dorma bedding department, a specialist furniture section, a cook shop and dining area as well as its Pausa coffee shop on site.

“It takes a lot of hard work, investment and commitment getting a new store up and running and we are delighted to welcome local Councillor Ian McEnnis and local inspiration Naomi Riches MBE to open our doors for the very first time.

“We are confident our new High Wycombe store will play a big part in the continued success of the company and look forward to introducing local shoppers to our diverse homewares offering.”
