Video footage of a man pulling a woman to the ground by her hair before punching a man outside McDonalds in High Wycombe has been released following his suspended sentence for the "vicious" attack.
The CCTV shows 22-year-old Jake Cohen, from Hawthorn Road, Princes Risborough, attacking two people in High Street, and was played to the public in crown court during his sentencing on February 23.
Cohen, who had earlier pleaded guilty to affray following the incident in the early hours of Sunday, August 9 last year, received an 18 month sentence suspended for 24 months at Amersham Law Courts last month.
Around 30 seconds into the video, Cohen can be seen pulling a female to the ground by her hair, before approaching a male and punching him around one minute and 40 seconds into the footage.
Mr Quinn, defending the landscape gardener, said the attack was committed in "blind alcohol" and said he has expressed remorse for what happened.
Judge Justin Cole said a custodial sentence was "justified" but he had been persuaded to suspend it because it was his first criminal conviction and had pleaded guilty.
- The CCTV footage has been authorised for release to the Bucks Free Press by Thames Valley Police and the Crown Prosecution Service.
