A house in Chesham has been severely damaged after fire tore through the property yesterday morning.
Firefighters rushed to Lowndes Avenue at around 10:18am after recieving multiple 999 calls alerting them about the blaze.
Transport for Bucks tweeted to say the road was closed following the blaze, causing delays throughout town.
It is believed the fire started in the roof of the two storey home.
A total of 18 people contacted Bucks Fire and Rescue after they saw smoke billowing from the house.
No one has been hurt in the incident and the fire service tweeted to say everyone is accounted for.
Crews used two jets, a ladder and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze which has now been put out.
The blaze also damaged guttering and soffits on the neighbouring house.
