A man who suffered serious head injuries in a motorway crash on Monday night has died in hospital.
Emergency services were called to the M40 southbound between junction 3 (Loudwater) and junction 2 (Beaconsfield) at 8.30pm after a red Nissan Micra rolled over and ended up on its roof on the hard shoulder.
The driver, a 24-year-old man from Birmingham, had been thrown from his car during the crash, South Central Ambulance Service confirmed.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries, but sadly died there on Tuesday (May 10).
His next of kin have been informed.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash. Anyone with information can call 101 quoting URN 1511 /95.
