Three young musicians, Alice Martin – Soprano & Flute, Annie Parker – Piano, Adam Richards – Euphonium, will be playing at a concert to support Christian Aid next week (Saturday 28 May). The event takes place at Amersham Free Church on Woodside Road and starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 which includes a free drink. Call 01494 725207 for more information.

Chesham Theatre Company are showing support for a Breast Cancer charity by performing a special play. The group will be raising money for the Walk the Walk breast cancer charity by performing ‘Cheshire Cats’. The play will be performed at The Little Theatre in Chesham on Wednesday June 29, Friday July 1 and Saturday July 2. A free craft fair will be taking place in Amersham this week. A total of 12 stalls will be selling goods such as plants, books, cakes, gifts, and toys. Saturday’s event, which is in support of Christian Aid, will also feature a Fairtrade Hamper Raffle and takes place from 9.30am to 3pm at St Michael’s Church, Sycamore Road. Chesham in Bloom’s plant sale takes place on Saturday May 28. The volunteers will have a selection of ornamentals, vegetables, annuals and perennials on sale on the steps of the United Reformed Church in The Broadway.
