Slow traffic on the M40 is causing congestion at Handy Cross Roundabout and across Buckinghamshire this morning, as motorists head back to work following the Bank Holiday weekend.
The journey back to work has not been fun for a lot of people on the roads so far today, with even higher volumes of traffic being reported on the motorway, according to travel links.
Delays are currently being reported around Handy Cross Roundabout, M40 junction 4, heading towards London.
Traffic is also moving slowly out of town, from the A40 (Denham Roundabout) to junction 1a (M25 interchange).
The heavy traffic comes as commuters face disruption on Chiltern Railways services, with a tree currently blocking the line around London Marylebone.
