Youngsters are being asked to do their bit for law enforcement by creating designs for the side of a police car.
Thames Valley Police is launching a competition for young people to design the livery on vehicles promoting ‘community engagement’.
The winning entries will adorn the side of one of the force’s non-response neighbourhood policing cars.
The competition is open everyone under 18, and the winner will also receive a certificate at the Force Open Day on Saturday, August 6 and a day out with the Roads Policing team.
Officers have offered the following tips for entrants:
• Be big and bold!
• Think of how the design looks on all elevations.
• Less is more, clear and concise designs are always the best.
• Try and think of how you can incorporate the community into your design!
The competition is running on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email.
To enter, you can email a photo of your design to forceopenday@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk post a photo of your entry to the force’s Facebook account, tweet it to @ThamesVP or Instagram it to @ThamesValleyPolice.
The contest closes on July 8.
