The Marlow bridge will close temporarily in August
Drivers in Marlow will be forced to take the longer way round town next month as its iconic bridge is set to close for major repair works.
The landmark will closed between Monday, August 15 and Tuesday August 26 for the crucial maintenance works, Marlow Town Council has announced.
Motorists will be diverted via the High Street, Spittal Street, Chapel Street, Little Marlow Road, A404, Marlow Road and Bisham Road.
Diversion signs will be in place throughout the closure, and drivers have been warned they will be penalised if they do not co-operate.
