Two of the three migrants discovered on the roof of a lorry yesterday at Beaconsfield Services are teenagers, the BFP has learned.
Home Office spokesman Catherine Ellis told the BFP the three men are believed to be from Afghanistan and were taken into police custody on suspicion of entering the UK illegally after being found on the lorry.
She said two of the men were found to be under the age of 18 and have been passed into the care of social services.
The third man will be passed to immigration enforcement officers to be interviewed.
It is believed they came out of their hiding place inside the lorry and got stuck on the roof, prompting calls to the police and fire service.
