A sex pest who was caught trying to film up a woman’s skirt while shopping in a supermarket has been made to pay for his crime – by giving his victim £75.

Wooburn Green man Christopher Mummery was arrested by police for outraging public decency after being caught red handed in a Sainsbury’s store in Beaconsfield on June 9.

After being hauled in front of magistrates in High Wycombe, the 41-year-old admitted attempting to film up the shopper’s skirt.

He was ordered to pay £75 in compensation, a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Mummery, of Boundary Road, must also take part in 100 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months, as part of a community order.
