Dozens of cars have been clamped by police across Wycombe this week as part of a crackdown on abandoned vehicles.

Eight vehicles were seized and 35 clamped in a joint police and DVLA operation on Wednesday alone during the search for abandoned and untaxed vehicles in the Wycombe West policing area.

And more untaxed cars were removed or clamped again yesterday as officers continued across the town.

Last month, the DVLA clamped a series of cars in a Tesco car park in Loudwater for not having tax.
