A child’s gravestone in High Wycombe Cemetery has been vandalised.
The gravestone in Snowdrop Gardens, Priory Road, was damaged between August 27 and September 17 this year after the marble part was removed and discarded a few feet from the concrete base.
Police have said it is not the first time the gravestone has been “tampered with” and is distressing for the family of the child.
They are appealing for anyone with information to call investigating officer PC Richard Lunn from High Wycombe police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
