Three men from High Wycombe have been charged after people were allegedly shot at in the street by attackers driving around in a car.

Detectives are investigating after thugs used a “BB-style” air pistol to allegedly shoot at members of the public while driving around in a car.

Shahid Hussain, 20, and Naeem Jahangir, 19, both of Chiltern Avenue, and Azeem Khaliq, 21, of Plumer Road, were charged on September 17, police have confirmed today.

The charges relate to an incident on May 27 in Bull Lane, Grafton Street and Suffield Road, all in High Wycombe.

The victims are believed to have sustained bruises but did not require hospital treatment.

The men were arrested on May 27 and charged on September 17 with one count of possession of an imitation fire arm, three counts of assault by beating and one count of using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent to cause fear of / provoke unlawful violence.

They are due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
