A 23-year-old woman died after a horror crash involving two cars and a lorry caused a busy dual carriageway to be closed for seven hours yesterday (Wednesday).
Emergency services were called out to the scene on the A412 Uxbridge Road, near the Crooked Billet roundabout between Iver and Slough, at 7.50pm after reports of the smash involving a silver Volkswagen Golf, a blue Ford Fiesta and a lorry.
The woman was believed to be driving the Golf, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and she has not yet been named.
The other car and lorry driver involved in the accident were not believed to be seriously injured.
The road had to be closed for seven hours for officers to investigate. It has now reopened.
Officers are working to establish how the accident happened and have confirmed no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses to call 101 quoting reference 1361 (19/10).
