Firefighters had to rescue a cow that got stuck in the mud in Little Marlow yesterday.
Crews from High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and Reading, along with an officer, were called to the scene in Westhorpe Park at 2.54pm on Sunday.
The cow had got trapped in mud at the side of the River Thames and had to be sedated by a vet while firefighters used large-animal rescue equipment to release it.
It was then able to walk off with a farmer once it was freed.
