Friday, November 4

  • HIGH WYCOMBE: The Hamilton Academy will hold its annual fireworks display in Hampden Road next week. The gates open at 7pm, bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm and fireworks will start at 7.45pm.
  • MARLOW: This year’s Marlow Monster Fireworks Show 2016 promises to be their “biggest and best” yet. The show, at Marlow Sports Club on Pound Lane, will feature a barbecue, bar and a mini village with stalls selling Italian produce, pickles, homemade fudge, arts and crafts, glow products and balloons. There will also be six sports to try and a Best Dressed Monster Competition with prizes. Tickets are available in advance or on the night. In advance (on the night, cash only); adults £8 (£10), juniors (3-18 years) £4 (£5), under threes free. Advance tickets are available from Marlow Library, Marlow Sports Club Bar, Pike Smith and Kemp, The Farm Shop in Booker. Gates open at 5.30pm, show starts at around 7pm.
  • AMERSHAM: Amersham and Chiltern Rugby club’s “thrilling” pyrotechnic display will take place at the ground in Weedon Lane, Amersham. Organisers promise “loads of fun, loads of bangs, loads of beer [and] loads of BBQ burgers”. The bonfire will be lit at 6.15pm with the firework display starting at 6.45. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for under-18s and £20 for a family ticket.
  • CHESHAM: The Chesham United firework spectacular, organised by the supporters’ trust, is happening at The Meadow, Amy Lane. Gates open at 6pm and there will be a bar and hot food available on the night. The display will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults, £5 for under-18s and £20 for a family of four. Children under five go free.
  • MARLOW: Sonning Fireworks will be lighting up the skies above Marlow at Foxes Piece School’s display on November 4. The display, at the school in Newfield Road, will take place on the field and the gates will open at 6pm. Tickets are £6 per adult, £3 per child on the night.
  • GREAT KINGSHILL: At the field opposite Pipers Lane. BBQ and refreshments. Tickets £5 or £15 for four, if purchased earlier at Spar shop or Cryers Hill Post Office. Under 2 years free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • STUDLEY GREEN: The Scouts and Guides are working together on this year’s fireworks display at Studley Green Community Centre. The gates open at 6.40pm, with the bonfire being lit at 7pm. The display will start at 7.30pm and there will be hot dogs and a tuck shop. Tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for children at the gate. All proceeds will go to Stokenchurch Scouts and Guides and there will be a community shuttle bus from the Kings Hotel.

Saturday, November 5

  • HIGH WYCOMBE: The High Wycombe Round Table fireworks display will take place on Saturday, November 5 at the Four Ashes Field on Kingshill Road. Doors open at 5pm and the bonfire will be lit at 6pm by the mayor of High Wycombe, Cllr Zia Ahmed, followed by fireworks. The display area includes a beer tent and warm food and there will be a fun fair and sparkler area. All proceeds go to charities in the area. Tickets are £20 per car or £7 for adults and £3 for children if bought in advance. Tickets can be bought at https://hwrt.ticketleap.com/2016.
  • FLACKWELL HEATH: The Flackwell Heath Village Bonfire Association’s firework display and bonfire night will feature a “Best Guy” competition, bar, tea tent, hot dog BBQ and glow sticks, as well as a spectacular firework display. Advance tickets for £5 can be bought from Flackwell Heath schools and shops.
  • NAPHILL: The Naphill Bonfire and Fireworks Display will be held at the Naphill Playing Field on Main Road on Saturday, November 5. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm to 8pm. Tickets are £7.50 for adults or £2 for children.
  • DOWNLEY: The annual bonfire and torchlight procession will take place on Saturday, November 5 at Downley Common. Torches will be sold from 6.30pm onwards at Commonside and food and drink will be on sale on the site – although there will not be any fireworks. Tickets are available from the organisers.
  • BEACONSFIELD: Beaconsfield Round Table fireworks and bonfire spectacular will kick off at Beaconsfield Rugby Club in Windsor End at 5pm. Fireworks will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 in advance or £8 on the door for anyone over five. To buy, go to http://beaconsfieldfireworks.co.uk/tickets.
  • CHESHAM: Charity Restore Hope’s fireworks night will take place at Latimer Park, Chesham. Gates open at 6.30 and tickets cost £8 for adults, £5 for under-12s and free for two years and under. Ticket prices include food and refreshments. To book, go to www.restorehopelatimer.org/fireworks-night.
  • GERRARDS CROSS: The Gerrards Cross Community Association firework display will blast off at the Memorial Centre. Gates open at 5.30pm and fireworks will start at 6.30pm. There will be a BBQ, refreshment and children’s activities during the evening. Tickets can be purchased on the door at £7 for adults, £5 for children and £20 for a family of five.MARLOW: Join the Crowne Plaza Marlow for their spectacular fireworks celebration at 6.30pm. Enjoy the evening in the stunning surroundings of Crowne Plaza Marlow, with fireworks over the lake and a spectacular performance of Handel’s Firework’s Music, Chamber Music and Jazz by the Chiltern Music Academy to add an extra touch of magic to the evening.   • CHALFONT ST GILES: There will be ‘Magic in the Sky’ on Saturday, November 5 during the Chalfont St Giles firework display at Stone Meadow. Gates open at 5:45, the bonfire will be lit at 6.15 and fireworks will start at 7pm. Adult tickets are £7 in advance or £9 on the gate and child tickets (under 16) are £4 in advance or £6 on the gate. Under threes go free. Family tickets are £18 in advance or £24 on the gate. Tickets can be bought The Olde Posthouse, Chalfont Pets, The Post Office, Warners Butchers and Yaldens, Chiltern Bike Barn and Seer Green Post Office.
  • BEACONSFIELD: The 36th Beaconsfield Cricket Club fireworks festival and bonfire will take place at the Wilton park grounds. Gates open at 5.40pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks will start at 7.30pm. Food and drink will be available on the night.   • GREAT MISSENDEN: The Great Missenden School bonfire and firework extravaganza is happening at the school, organised by the PTA. It is a family friendly event with plenty of activities to keep children and adults busy, with a 20 minute firework display to round off the evening. To book tickets, go to http://gmfireworks.co.uk.
  • PRESTWOOD: The Prestwood, Kingshill and Misbourne Scouts bonfire night celebrations will take place at Wren Davis Field in Wycombe Road. The event will kick off at 6.15pm and finish at 7pm. Tickets cost £4 in advance (£5 on the door) and £10 for family advance (£15 on the door). Advance tickets are available from JNP Estate Agents of Prestwood, Prestwood Post Office, Spar of Great Kingshill and Samways of Great Missenden.
  • MARLOW BOTTOM: Burford School in Marlow Bottom will once again play host to the award-winning Star Fireworks at the annual Marlow Bottom Fireworks Extravaganza. This year, stay warm with hot drinks while you enjoy the music, sweets, a barbecue, beer tent, candy floss, a shooting gallery and fairground rides. Tickets at the gate are £8 for adults and £6 for children, or buy tickets in advance from www.marlowbottomfireworks.com. Gates open from 5.30pm, fireworks will start between 7pm and 8pm.
  • COOKHAM: The spectacular grand firework display and bonfire organised by Cookham Scout Group will return this year, with the gates opening at 5.30pm at Grove Island, Odney Lane. There will be hot dogs and mulled wine for sale on the night. The bonfire will be lit at 6pm, with fireworks around 7pm. Tickets £5 in advance, available from Countrystore, Village Hardware and Hillcrest Stores, and £6 on the night.
  • BURNHAM: The village football club will play host to a grand firework display and Diwali festival celebrations at The Gore, Wymers Wood Road. Gates open at 5.30pm and fireworks start at 7.15pm. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £4 for under-14s. Under-fives go free.
  • DENHAM: Buckinghamshire Golf Club’s 2016 bonfire and fireworks display night will light up the sky at the club in Denham Court Drive. Gates open at 5pm and fireworks start at 7pm. For tickets, call 01895 835777.

Sunday, November 6

  • CHESHAM BOIS: The Chestnut Lane and Elangeni Schools Association has teamed up with Chesham Bois C.E. Combined School PTA for their annual fireworks display on Sunday, November 6 at Elangeni School Field in Woodside Avenue. Hot dogs, snacks, mulled wine and glow products will be on sale.

Monday, November 7

  • PENN AND TYLERS GREEN: The Social Club in Elm Road will play host to the Penn and Tylers Green fireworks display this year. The event will run from 6pm to 10pm and tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for children and free for under-fives.
